Dr Bevan Goodreid
The Principal, Dr Bevan Goodreid graduated from the 5 year degree programme at Phillip Institute of Technology (now RMIT University) in Melbourne. He was registered with the Chiropractors Registration Board of WA in October 1982 and now with the Chiropractic Board of Australia. Besides private practice, he was a clinician for 6 years at the Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic, supervising students in their final, fifth year of study.
Professionally active, Dr Goodreid has served in various capacities including President of the Chiropractors Association of Australia (WA). He was the Presiding Member of the Chiropractors Registration Board of WA before becoming an inaugural member on the Chiropractic Board of Australia. He has also served on the Chiropractic Council of Education Australasia (CCEA), the accrediting agency for chiropractic in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Dr Goodreid received meritorious awards for service to the chiropractic profession in 2003 and 2009.
Since establishing Cockburn Chiropractic in 1985, Dr Goodreid has seen many patients from all walks of life with may varied presentations. He has seen babies grow up to have children of their own! He utilises manual adjusting skills to suit each patient, with individualised care plans from a “quick fix” to long term supportive and maintenance care.
Dr Emma Cohn
Dr Emma Cohn joined Cockburn Chiropractic Centre in October 2015, having graduated as Dux of her class from Murdoch University in 2014. In 2013, her studies lead her to Siliguri in India where she provided free care to hundreds of people in the local community. She is extremely passionate about treating people from all walks of life.
Dr Cohn predominately utilises manual adjusting techniques and incorporated other low force modalities such as soft tissue therapy, drop piece, and activator. Her goal is to tailor a plan for each individual that not only reduces pain but improves function in day to day life.
